Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo May 7, 2005 1080p 60FPS HD Show. Video/Japanese Commentary
Показать описание
The fight that MANY people, fans, commentators, writers, trainers, fighters and a bunch of etc's, call the single greatest boxing match they have witnessed. There's even an HBO fight that was held a few months afterwards where Jim Lampley praises the fight. It is that revered. Enjoy if you should choose to do so.
RIP Diego "Chico" Corrales
I came across this yesterday, already in the fashion I am presenting it here, meaning that I didn't remove the English commentary and replace it with the Japanese. Not certain if the uploader at the channel where I found it did so or if he found it that way, either? I imagine that is the reason this version is allowed up so far in North America as I am pretty sure that if it had the original commentary it would be blocked, if not resulting in an actual strike. I just now noticed that I did receive a copyright claim (in the last 5 mins at that even!) and the video IS blocked in some countries, unfortunately. Oddly enough, and I mean really oddly enough, this whole video is unwatchable for any of my zero subscribers who reside in the "land down under!" This version of the fight is blocked ONLY in Australia?! Weird!. YouTube tells creators in these situations the percentage of a channels sub's that will be affected by the blocking of an upload. In this case, they tell me that 0% of my sub's are affected by this blockage, meaning I have no fans in "Oz."

Notes
The entire bout was fought in close, producing facial damages. Castillo was cut in the left eye brow in round five. By round seven Corrales showed bad puffs under each eye. After his second knockdown, he bled below the right eye. Castillo ended with a puff under the right eye.
Corrales was knocked down twice in round 10th.
Corrales spit his mouthpiece out after each knockdown, causing controversy because of the extra recovery time he received as his corner rinsed out the mouthpiece.
Corrales had a point deducted after the second infraction.
As Castillo moved in to finish off Corrales, the always-dangerous Corrales landed a huge left hook that staggered Castillo.
Corrales quickly followed up with a flurry of hard punches causing referee Tony Weeks to stop the fight.
Both fighters took a tremendous amount of punishment in what is already widely considered a boxing classic.
Data Boxing Blows: Corrales 340/520 65%, Castillo 244/537 45%.
