Good move by Henry Wrinkler in listening to Stallone to get back the script from ABC. Otherwise it would have been a disaster if they replaced him as the scriptwriter. Stallone was tailor made for the role.

I probably only remember this film from the TV commercials for it, a Doo-Wapp group singing the words, "The Street Lords of Flatbush", then a bass voice sings, "rated PG".

I disbelieve this, because a TV network would have no interest in a film script, and this story is similar to the real occurrence, namely Winkler/Chartoff wanted to replace Stallone as the ACTOR, as he was nobody. Stallone declined, and they gave in, although they lowered his back-end take, accordingly.
