stop snorting the rock powder... you're talking of merlin, which is arthurian myths, which is LESS than 2000 years ago, and yet you say they wouldn't know the wheel ?
either they are very old & merlin has nothing to do with these, or merlin did it, and CERTAINLY knew about the wheel. remember Arthur, the roman raised and trained son of uther pendragon ? do you think romans did not know the wheel ? Even if you were just spouting "what ifs" stories, at least be consistent with yourself...
