Update on the progress of ripping down my home theater and starting again! This is a new update as I encountered a few issues and delays with my screen.

Will also include lots of new changes and upgrades:

Sponsors for the project:

This rebuild will take place over seven or eight videos and cover all of the changes, the installation of an additional subwoofer to do waveforming, as well as all new lighting by Govee, a brand new electric screen from Screen Technics, and a new Krix subwoofer from my good friend Mick Stillone!

More videos are coming, as I intend to show my masking system in action and and also a very cool MadVR project I'm working on as well!

One thing you may use for your panels that are friction fit is magnets, depending on the space of course. I used round neodymium magnets on some of my acoustic panels. Just an idea.

Ooh....I like how your door opens. Thats what I originally planned to do (a pocket door) but changed our mind because a regular swinging door was cheaper to implement (and we wanted a solid core door)

Tony I see you are making great progress! Looking awesome thus far. Hang there man, you seem a little bit tired. Amazon sells "On Air" lighted signs for the outside or your theater 😁

Very cool, any issues with that drop down screen moving/waving with all that sound pressure behind it?

Hey man, absolutely awesome! I love the masking, this is something I'm still keen to do at some point so I'll have to get back on discord for some info!! This is another thing to love about this hobby/passion too, I remember 2 years ago chatting about screen hinges to get better access to behind your fixed screen and it's great seeing how it's evolved into this solution. Way better now with the approach to showing the glorious speakers off as a feature rather than just lifting the screen for access.

The room is looking so good now but I bet like the most of us, you spend at least as much time building and tinkering as actually watching movies lol. I'm looking forward to seeing the final updated room tour with all the lighting.

Great work and great video, thanks as always!

Looks great! Would you be able to do a more detailed video about your screen and masking? Or is there a build thread? I'm interested in what materials you used for the masking, how you kept things straight and not bow, and the motorized aspect. You said that you coded the masking, but how are you reading the source to know what ratio to switch to? Or is it only manual? Whatever you are willing to show and share would be appreciated. Regardless, it looks great!
