Detailing a 200,000 Mile Car

Ben bought the Forester last year to serve as a beater, and we have certainly beat on it. The car hasn't been washed by anything but rain for the entirety of Ben's ownership, so when our buddy Daniel at Automotive Aesthetic offered to detail a car for us, we had the perfect challenge for him.

In this video, Daniel talks through his 3 main steps of cosmetic car care, and cleans up the Subie while he's at it.

Huge thanks to Daniel and all the guys at Automotive Aesthetic for hooking us up with an unreasonably great detail.

As several of our users have pointed out, we used some rather interesting spellings for "rejuvenate" and "contaminate" in this video. Let this serve as a reminder to us all that 1) Premiere Pro doesn't have spellcheck, 2) you should always thoroughly proof your work, and 3) crack is whack. We apologize, and pray that you do not unsubscribe.

Finally some light shed on a true professional that cares and has passion for automotive paint correction and not just some car washer wax guy down the street, not saying that's bad just obviously a huge difference. Thanks for sharing light that more people need to see.

I rarely comment on videos. In this case, I felt it necessary because of the fantastic job Daniel @ Automotive Aesthetic did on my wife's M3. I was picking up the car as these two knuckleheads in their Subie showed up.

Daniel really knows his stuff. Super fun video guys -- thanks for sharing.

Two bucket method is essential. Wish I had the grit guards in the bottom though.

I've always associated meticulous detailing work with Larry at AMMONYC, but I'm really happy to learn about people like Daniel out there with the same passion and charisma for this stuff. Great work, Daniel and G&G!

I'd love me a nice cinematic rust repair video. Repairing to the extent of cutting and not just sanding, that is.
it would be something new and compeletely original.
Now, for this to happen i get that you'd need some way of funding the video, as well as a rusty af car thats worth repairing. Neither of which i can help you with unless i win the lottery and you feel like coming to Norway.

:D
