God, Murray Gold went all out with bringing back tracks for this episode. From Doomsday, The Doctor’s Theme, I Am The Doctor, A Good Man, Vale, Clara’s Theme, All the Strange Strange Creatures, etc! It was such a nice throwback!

I just realised, by listening to this. This is REALLY a new version of VALE. By this I mean a new way of understanding the word... This is Murray Gold saying "goodbye" to us. Because all the other tracks used after during the last ten minutes of the episode are pre-existing ones... That means this was his last "new" score, his very last one... God I'll miss him . T_T

This episode and the music brings tears to my eyes. If someone cut out when you see who the doctor regenerates into and told me this was the last episode of Doctor Who, I would believe them. Murray Gold bringing back all the music for his last episode was really awesome. This was an amazing farewell to Peter and an amazing era of Doctor Who, it will never be the same.

This is beautiful. Honestly this episode is so emotional. It really is the end of an era, and not just the Capaldi era or the Moffat Era but the Murray Gold era from 2005-2017. 😭

I love how even though the vocal melody is the same as it was in series 4, the change in orchestration turns the song's apprehensive tone into something full of hope and wonder. If they ever release the series 10 soundtrack, I so hope this ends up on it.

I find it so disappointing that the last works of Murray gold on this series aren't available to listen to properly. This stuff is still very good.
