Counter strafing diagonally and forward and back is so difficult to adapt to especially because majority of the time CS players were only told to counter strafe sideways.

I tried to learn the two button diagonal counters strafing out of it feeling good in an aim map. I swear everytime I get that like aha moment or realization of a mechanic, like finding an improvement in my movement or aiming, Donk has already mastered it 10 years before anybody.
