Oktoberfest – how safe is it for women?

The Oktoberfest in Munich begins on September 21. In theory it’s all about fun, but each year there are numerous incidences of sexual violence. Since 2003 the ‘Sichere Wiesn’ campaign works on site to offer girls and women protection and assistance. How safe do female visitors to the Oktoberfest feel?
