Another great list. I was recently gifted a copy of Fromage, I am so excited to play it.

Very interesting to hear Jamies Arnak strategy. I am the same, as I love exploring and getting new cards. From what I hear the meta is to move up the track and I do always seem to seem to lose by not focusing on that. But I don't care it is just fun flipping new tiles and seeing what comes up.

Dune Imperium is my current #1. I could see Harmonies really climbing the ladder . Same with River Valley Glassworks for the fact they are easy to table.

I personally sold Blood Rage even though I had everything because imo the assymetry of Rising Sun and Ankh is just a lot more fun!

I think re-affinity works for GWT. With new games hitting higher up on the list, old ones get bumped back. For this to stay in the same place, it would have to have gained places relative to all other games on the list from last year. Reaffinity confirmed - take THAT, internet.

I feel the same about Blood Rage as you. I really like it but I'm not really good at it. 😅 Hace you tried the campaign expansion for Arnak? It's really fun and comes with two new expediation leaders.

Empires of the North didn't make as big an impact because those of us who have been heavy Euro Gaming for over a decade and who went all in on the original Imperial Settlers, which is a great game, didn't see the point of, or want to, buy it all again when there is nothing wrong with the original. :-)

I am 100 percent certain that you guys are playing Stardew Valley wrong haha. My wife and I just played our first 2 player game tonight and won in summer. I’m curious if you guys are trimming the seasons deck down or for phase 2 not choosing anywhere to go and instead moving from where you were at the end of the round. Or not realizing that you can do 2 actions at one location or action move action.

Agricola vs Caverna is similar to Tigris & Euphrates and Yellow & Yantzee... all are great, but yeah give me the more deterministic Agricola and Tigris & Euphrates every day over the other two. I want the things I do to matter and the things I do wrong to feel like I screwed up 🤣
