You're right about all that Mr. Pope, basically we can end up relying too much in plays and that screws up our tempo at times. But on the other hand, being too passive also has its downsides, in the sense that the safest play is not always correct. Sometimes you'll have jungle clear advantage, but the other jungler ganked 2 times and got his laners ahead, which wins them the game. So it's gotta be a bit of both efficient clearing and map presence, which in the end is just having good decision making. That sounds simple but it's not, because it's also a game of chance, and variables outside your own agency, so you might make the smarter move and still come up the loser anyway.

What I'm saying is, we as junglers have to take the game more like a racing game, and laners more like a fighting game. Sure we have both in the end, but generally the jungler has to be more mindful of clears; laners' minions respawn at a fixed amount of time, but junglers can and will get more gold and exp than their counterpart if they just farm faster and smarter. It's something to be mindful about.

I really enjoyed the World's jungle coverage. I'm also interested to get your analysis on the MAD vs BDS game on day 2. The casters were describing how MAD went in with a plan from level 1 to push Belveth as their win condition and BDS didn't have a good response to it. I'm wondering about what mistakes BDS made and better counter strategies they could have devised to address MAD's plan. Love your work
