This is the ideal city/suburban truck for those of us who occasionally need the bed, but really cannot justify paying luxury vehicle prices for a truck. This straight up costs as much as a corolla and undercuts the RAV4. Wow. What a product. Bravo Ford.

When I graduate, or if my current car with 180, 000 miles bites the dust, THIS is what I want. Incredibly practical for me. I don't care if the hybrid systems can't tow, the bed is a good enough utility trailer for me.

The 1st car I ever bought with my own $$$ was a used 1980 basest of base models Toyota PU. I love the steel wheels on that Maverick. Memories.

Not Gonna Lie, I really like the XL Trim.
The only thing that turns me off from it, however, is the Lack of Cruise Control, which, IMO, Should be STANDARD on ALL TRIMS.
How does one omit Cruise Control and is able to Drive Long-Distances? I get that most Businesses will Default for a XL Trim, but I'd like to believe the XL Trim is also popular amongst the Budget-Minded Customers.
If I go Maverick, I'd want an XLT Because of this.
