I have a i3 combo + iove it. I don't use the mapping because it doesn't work well but for the price I paid for it( free) it was worth it. 😊

Thanks for the video, but i wish you did more quantitive analysis in you videos rather than just saying "this one is better because i think so". For example, sprinkle 1/4 a cup of sand of the floor and see how much of the sand is picked up after x amount of time. This way we can actually evaluate the performance.

Also, if the i5 navigates by bumping into things, how does it navigate straight back to its dock without just randomly bumping into things till it finds it? There must be some sensors beyond bumping to navigate back to the dock.

The only reason we’re looking at Roombas (vacuum only) is for the pet hair pickup on carpets. With a mildly shedding Sheltie, that’s important.

The iRobot Roomba J5 and the Shark Matrix Plus 2n1 are both currently on sale for $399.99. My upstairs is all hardwood with no rugs or carpet. Which would you recommend?
