911 Turbo S is 100% stock

Z06 has full bolt ons and an E50 tune making around 670 whp on an manual transmission with No Passenger.

The Porsche had 1 Passenger and was automatic mode for both races( Manual mode would have been much better to start in as you can see the delay from Porsche downshifting at the get go)

These arguments will go on till the end of time. Some will say, lets see them from a dig. Lets see both stock. Lets see it against a ZR1. Some fail to realize some stock cars have an advantage off the bat over their competition. Some have AWD, dual clutch, less weight, more hp, gearing not really best for digs vs another that is geared better for a roll. Unless you are a true fanboy of either, you will appreciate the cars for what they are. With enough bucks, you can make anything faster, have a shop put in better quality materials, etc. That's what i love about Jay Leno, he has domestic and foreign cars up the yazoo, he just appreciates performance cars, regardless of who makes them. I would love to own a ZR1, the 911, the Aventador, the GT500, a Widebody Redeye Charger Hellcat, a ZLI/1LE, BMW Competition, Audi R8, and so many others. I luv them all, just wish i had Leno's bucks. This talk about " German Engineering" is blown out of proportion, IMO. A car that can put up the numbers a Viper or ZLI/1LE can put up on the Nurburgring is not engineered?. You have to be pretty fast, go around the corners, brake hard, etc, without ending up wrapped around a tree, even in the hands of a pro. It takes engineers who know how to design a vehicle that can do all that. Give them credit and stop thinking it's not "engineered" if it's not German. Safe driving all.

I like the vette for what it is...but what it isn't is a 911 turbo s. The Porsche is engineering excellence. Stock to stock, 1/4 digg or on a track the turbo s is superior.

I own a 992 turbo S and my manager has a z06 stock the 911 S walks away from the vett. When modifying the vett the will move. I like both cars. It’s just good fun
