Africa could use this opportunity to take their gold back, middle-east and the Indian subcontinent their treasures back.

No oil in Europe 2025.
1) Nordstream pipelines destroyed in the Baltic Sea.
2) No more oil and gas through Ukraine to Serbia Hungary and Slovakia.
3) Qatar warns EU of termination.
4) Only 1 pipeline left from Russia - Turkstream through Turkiye to the Balkans. My perspectives on Turkstream. This pipeline will not deliver gas to Europe for too long.
5) Buy US gas. Costs 4X more than Russian gas.

Qatar should intervene to stop the flow of gas if the West keeps blackmailing sovereign nations like Slovakia and Hungary!

25 years ago China was suffering from severe power shortages. Many buildings had to switch off the lights during lunch breaks, even the lifts were powered off when not in use. Is the EU going to be like China 25 years ago?

Uk is not considered a European nation. Btw, it was Ukraine that turned off the transit of Russian’s gas through their territory to Europe.

Mr O, it was not Russia, turning off the tap, but Ukraine didn't underwrite a new deal with Russia and shut the tap from energy at 01/01/2025 at 07.00 h.am.

The answer is No. Europe is not the World. There are 150+ countries cheering this and will enjoy the benefits of Qatar's gas😂😂

Not a global energy crisis, but maybe a Western energy crisis, European in particular. And I'd see it as more of a stepping stone than a spark. Other things would have to happen after, and several things have happened already, prominently in the Baltic.

I don't see production falling so much unless it's simply lack of a place for it to go. So long as the multi-polar world is willing to buy energy it will be there given that it can get from A to B, and it may be even cheaper if there are more sanctions, embargoes etc. elsewhere.

The South Korean legal system is a joke. The president cannot be arrested in this case because his guards protect him. This is not a case of criminal law exemption, as it is related to revolt. Moreover, even though Blinken only has 14 days left as Secretary of State, the subservient South Korean Foreign Minister continues to pay deference to him.

Qatar is certainly not bluffing because EU has been shown to be only a paper tiger.

It’s a agreement with the USA? Like that they can sold their gas to Europe or they just want to raise de price ?

Qatar has options for oil and gas. China imports ten million barrels or gas equivalents per day. I believe India will import another ten to twelve million barrels of oil per day, whenever her economy fires up.
