No starter should have got a rating better than a 4. Zendajas and Vasquez were the only players to show a little fight and grit.

That was a great two games in 4 days. What did we learn. What stood out? Mexico had 12 shots to Zero for us. Poch is a club Soccer is different? That being said....a few players looked soft and we don't have enough talent for our players to be SOFT...I think that's important to note. Scally isn't athletic enough, Tillman didn't show up, Aaronson looked like a kid playing on the JV Team vs the Varsity on a physical played double the minutes of both Vasquez and Pepi but he had less quality touches in critical areas. Lund has speed and effort but he lacks both feet/and feeling....Busio, Pepi, Vasquez played well

Poch's job isn't to "build a good team", Poch's job is to "teach Gen Z Americans how to fight"... Until they can discover that grit/bite they will always be second best to the 02 WC team.

Aaronson is still a JV player against Seniors. Time to put Tim Ream on the shelf. Sargent M.I.A. No CB's taking their chance. No GK, no depth.

Eredivise and Championship are not as good as we think they are. Against Mexico and no one makes an impact? At least Brek Shea took his chance. CD9 created a moment. Michael Bradley came up big.

Someone tell Tony that Poch only compared Tillman to Dele Alli because he was asked to do specifically that. He said that Tillman had similar talent but lacked the competitive drive that Dele Alli has. So...that's pretty far from a ringing endorsement of Tillman. And it's also pretty close to accurate in my eye.
