Today we take a look at the BMW X3M competition.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video was the drive shaft replacement - around 40% of these x3ms have had to have drive shaft replacements for knocking where they meet the rear diff - this one has had the drive shaft replaced under warranty after just 6,000 miles, so if you’re looking at buying one of these then it’s worth looking out for this in the service history or checking on your test drive that you’re not hearing any knocking sound from the boot area as you come to a stop or pull away from stationary
