the best way I found to disable this is to replace the factory reverse incadesent lamps with LED's. It's not instant but for $25 this will stop auto start stop after a while. you might need to swap modes and reverse a few times but it will stop it without any service lights or anything. Manual mode works but can be daunting for some. Fun fact with Manual mode. you can start off in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear from a stop. 3rd gear unlocks the torque converter so its super smooth and holda the rpm at around 2, 500- 3, 000 rpm until about 35 mph

I leave the ac on thiers also a wire that bypass the front hood to display.

So in other words there is no way to disable the damn auto s/s feature on the XT5 without going into manual mode.

I purchased Smart Stop Start. It's been over a year, and it's never start stopped.

Есть другое решение. Отсоединить маленький разъём под капотом. Правда на приборке при каждом запуске придётся скидывать сообщение о скором тех. обслуживании, надимая кнопку «Ок» на руле. Но это не проблема.

Thousand 17 Cadillac XT five premium luxury does not have this feature. You cannot turn off the automatic start and stop.
