You need to push in the suction cup on a completely flat surface or it won’t seal. Try pushing it so that the air leaves the suction cup so that it attaches to the surface better

You should never put anything on your wall that is wet because it's going to mess up your drywall! You need to put it in something like a sink and wet the suction cup before it put on to the surface because it won't have the suction😮
