If you hold down on the D-Pad when using Dynamite you put a helmet on that blocks all of the explosive damage to you. It makes me think of how people complain about the Bomb mask in Majora's Mask. It's infinite bombs, but it hurts you except if you put your shield up when you use it all damage is blocked.
