Almost time to go back to school! Can you believe Ziya is going to be in second grade? In this video we are shopping for clothes and supplies, organizing, and getting ready for the new school year. I know this time can be a little overwhelming for parents, I'm sharing some of my favorite tips, from back to school shopping to practicing our school day routine.

I love how you encourage her to make her own logical decisions while still giving her feedback! Even though it is so new to me for kids to get new pencil cases etc. every school year. In Germany, kids get one good quality backpack + lunchbox + pencil case + gym pouch set in first grade which they will use all throughout elementary school (1st-4th grade), and then a new set for the new school starting 5th grade.
