When Tarja was in the band, Tuomas wrote songs for her voice.
When Anette was in the band, Tuomas wrote songs for her voice.
Now Floor is in the band and Tuomas can write whatever the fuck he wants, he knows Floor can sing it.
No disrespect for the previous singers, but they say third time's a charm for a reason.

It's hard to believe that someone so talented, so hard-working, so attuned to excellence, could ever feel so insecure. Mental health is such an important area and we're not very good at it. There's a lesson there for all of us. Never make negative life-altering decisions when you're down.
I'm so glad Floor is back on stage and giving it her all. She's a gem and the Nightwish guys are very lucky to have her in the band. Great to hear that they are mutually supportive. I look forward to many more great tracks.

I'm 50 years old. I've heard a lot of bands, and a lot of vocals in my day.
"No one" is comparable.
You (and Marco), and the rest of the band literally bring joyous emotion to me.
I didn't feel that way with Tarja, or Anette.
You M'dear..."complete" this band, it's sound and presence.
I wasn't always a Nightwish fan.
"You" your talent, your range, your ability to get "me" to understand the intricacies of the music. ...that was what made me a full fledged fan.

Thank you, Floor you have given us so much. I was in a very dark place after 3 tours of combat, I'd lost friends and family, and then my 18 yr old daughter died. So I was truly lost, suicide was ever-present in my thoughts. I did not seek help until I retired from the service, I had turned to heavy drinking and destructive behavior. The day came I accepted I needed help, the first day I went to the V.A to start therapy, the staff was listening to your music. I cannot explain it, I was lost in the pain you could drain from me. I broke right there and then, all the anguish of the past 20 years came flowing out. I wasn't cured, but I don't think without hearing your angelic voice I'd ever gotten to where I am 8 years later. To say you save my life, the life of someone you'll never know isn't an exaggeration. This is why I only refer to you as my own personal Goddess. When the anxiety builds, the panic attacks set upon me, I turn on your music (video if I'm home) and let you pull it out of me. I am forever in your debt, a man you'll never know and yet you saved. I wish only the best in this life for you and others like you. You give so much and ask us for so little in return. When you sing, heaven weeps for there's no angel that can match your voice. You introduce envy to the heavens while healing so many. Your music has helped countless veterans, all of us owe you a debt that cannot be repaid.

In my eyes, ears and my soul, Floor is THE BEST singer of ALL TIME, like in the history of mankind. Male or Female doesn't matter. She's just out of this world, out of this universe. No one else so far managed to deliver such emotions through singing to the point where i can just stay in awe and tear up like a child along with goosebumps all over the body and shivers down the spine, all at the same time. I'm so glad to be living in the same time with her and be able to listen to that godly voice. Cos that's what she is - a Goddess.
