We’re looking at countries that, for one reason or another, are not home to a McDonald's restaurant. We won’t be included countries that went McDonald's-less for years only to receive a franchise more recently, such as Kazakhstan.

Bangladesh should also be on the list. I live in Bangladesh and we don't have McDonald's. We do have KFC, Burger King, Domino's Pizza, Pizza Hut and only one A&W. At one point, we even had Baskin Robbins and even Nandos but those had to be closed down.
