The ability of players to kick a footy off the ground or the half volley seems to be improving in the last couple years. I know old heads will still probably hate the kick off the ground but it obviously has its uses. I wonder if we’ll continue to see it become more used and more refined over the next couple of years

(I don’t just mean shots at goal either. Seeing a lot of little traps, or flicks out from congestion. And even pretty well controlled kicks off the deck that hit a team mate on the chest 20 or so metres away)

Still think Shai Bolton's Goal is leading purely for the difficulty of it all - running towards the boundary line, under pressure off of his unpreferred foot. Got to love it!

Mason Redman kicked a massive drop punt goal out of the box but it was called a point bc they were fighting against Hawks btw game was bombers vs Hawks
