House sitting for us is amazing! We've been house sitting with TH for over 15 months and it's been great! Our first international sit was recently in London. Two weeks in a beautiful neighborhood in London was game changing for us because there was no way that we could have afforded two whole weeks vacation in a hotel. Expense wise: Flights, (we were already going to vacation in Portugal), travel insurance, food and transportation within the city. The homeowners liked us so much that they want to book us again this summer. Definitely worth the costs.

Hi! I'm a new subscriber, and I just came from watching the replay of your live housesitting Q&A. Both videos were very informative. I did find it odd that housesitters don't get paid, though. I guess when you factor in the money you would spend on accommodations, especially luxury ones, it balances out a bit? I also thought that not having a car could be a hindrance to housesitting, but I like that you included Uber or public transit in the budget. Thank you for the information. I am seriously considering trying out housesitting.
