This is a great video of most of the problems I had with the bag. I bought this along with the 35L Nomatic Travel Backpack as a bundle during the Kickstarter campaign about 3-4 years ago. Yeah, it was definitely more marketed as an "accessory" to the 35L backpack rather than it's own thing. I honestly couldn't justify having it part of the kit anymore because better alternatives have come out since I got it. Ergonomics with only the bottom camera part filled made it uncomfortable for me (even if I used the waist belt from the 35L slid into the cube pack). And because that there's hardly any structure to the bigger portion of the bag, it kinda forced me to only pack it with packing cubes or other storage containers to give it that structure. Taking things in and out of the bottom portion was an abysmal process of taking things in and out of all the time. It only ever makes sense as you mentioned it before, to accompany it with the bigger backpack only if your camera is an afterthought to whatever trip you're going on just because of how difficult it was to take your camera in and out of the bag when you need it.
Great material, uncomfortable to me, and difficult to use at times.
Standalone; kinda mid 6/10. In a bigger backpack: 7.5/10.

Great video! Im really wondering if it'll fit a 16in laptop when expanded. Im really wanting to something I could take my camera, a lens and my laptop into a coffee shop with without the huge backpack.
Also, I thought I had heard that the bottom has loops where you could attached a tripod too btw!

I'm about to go on a cruise and I have the 35L for my video production trips. I feel like i'll need this bag for the days off the boat. I like how it fits inside the 35L, which I'm taking. I just don't like that it looks weird without it being full. Great video btw! Quality is on point!

the cube backpack is ridiculously priced. get in touch with reality please, there are plenty of well made 130€ camera backpacks and i have to pay another 125€ for an additional accessory for my already overpaid 500€ backpack?
