I took myself on a solo travel date to dresden in germany because i love myself (& I miss my solo backpacking + interrailing europe days!).

Ever since I started studying abroad in Berlin, I've been wanting to explore more of Germany! When I saw a deal on train tickets to Dresden, I knew I had to take it! Explore Dresden with me, get all the female solo backpacker tips and soak up the gratitude and self love of spending time with yourself!! I hope this inspires you to explore somewhere alone, even if it's the street next to you :)

Casual Magic of the Day: I watched Mamma Mia with one of my closest friends at university and there is such simple magic in enjoying a good film with people you love. We danced to Dancing Queen, sang along to all the songs and cuddled under a blanket. Sundays are good.

I think the romanticising section where she's just sitting by the river is so important, we never take enough time to sit down and just appreciate the world. It really uplifted my day :)

I live near Dresden and fun fact: those darker stone you can see in the church (Frauenkirche) are the stones, that remained from the chruch there, which was destroyed in the second world war. The ruins where left there as a memorial, before the reconstruction (thought it might be interesting) btw it is just as beautiful on the inside^^

I just moved to Dresden a few days ago to study my master's degree and the city especially Neustadt has really enchanted me, like the poeple are so nice and open here and there is a lot to discover.
