Starting Strength is a barbell training program published by strength training coach and author Mark Rippetoe. Today I give a brief introduction to what the program looks like and then I try for a milestone of 300# on the deadlift.

Nice work! Congrats! I just hit 300 lbs today too. Remember to initiate the deadlift by squeezing everything tight and taking the slack out of the bar. Don't jerk it up like on reps 3, 4 and especially 5. Overall, really nice form though!
