People just forget that Tengen was keeping up and protecting Tanjiro. They say he only survived because of the others when Gyutaro only got the one up because he had so much going for him
After Tengen initially got poisoned he had to protect people including Tanjiro.
Then on top of that he was controlling Daki’s ribbons, making them stronger and faster.
Once Tengen skill was really popping off he was handling Gyutaro but had to also protect Tanjiro. Don’t sleep on my boy Tengen

If any other hashira had fought gyutaro they would have lost (except gyomei and sanemi) beca none of them have any sort of resistance to poison….for example let’s say obanai fought gyutaro. Due to his small physique the poison would eat through him like nothing and he said that Muzan poison was spreading faster through out his body faster because of his physique, the only reason he didn’t just die instantly was beca he unlocked his demon slayer mark same goes for muichiro in his fight with gyokko

The reason people think uzui is weak because the same reason with Rengoku they were trying to protect the others the entire fight not allowing them to fight at there full potential :Edit also if it was a one on one full power uzui vs gyutaro he would win also he couldn’t activate his musical score because there was too many things happening at once he had to be on the defense which knowing his fighting style he was not made for which made him 10x weak this was a battle for som1 like Giyu or obani which obani can 1v2 because of his sword skills

I think Gyutaro definitely gets battle iq, when tengen first attacked him he used his left hand to swing at gyutaro which show him that he’s a left handed fighter. Gyutaro then spent the rest of the fight focusing on Tengens left side

Tengen would survive a while because of him originally being a ninja therefore he has a lot of bulk against Gyutaro's poison. I'm not saying Tengen would win but i'm saying it would be a 50/50 battle between Muichiro and Gyutaro since Muichiro doesn't have the bulk or immunity that Tengen has. If Muichiro gets hit even once he probably would die soon due to the poison, Although Muichiro's speed may be what makes him win.
