I just love Rick Cobb's drumming on all their stuff.

I go through Bloodrock's catalog at least once every 6 mos. And their music still brings tears of enjoyment to me. One big reason I guess is the band couldn't ever reform fully intact. Too many key personel have passed on. And the rest are probably too tired to do anything.😢

Great tune. One of my favorite Bloodrock tunes.

Met and played with Bloodrock in 1975 and they are so far ahead of their time. They made Rush and Yes look like beginners.

It was a time between flower power and disco, when guitars ruled the world and lyrics where more reflective of the reality on the ground here in USA at that time.Happy songs of my youth like Its a Sad World and  DOA, lol

This album inspired much of my early years playing the guitar, many thanks for posting. I think you can actually get this on CD from "CD Baby" web site

Rick Cobb is a great drummer.  This is a great band.  Check out Bloodrock II with John Nitzinger's songs on a few tracks.  Such an under rated band in it's day, over shadowed by Deep Purple, GFR, Zepplin, Who and so many others of the day. But their music lives on forever!

I fuckin' love Bloodrock, thanks for posting "It's a Sad World!"
My brother ask my parents for Bloodrock II for christmas, they brought USA home instead! I think my brother was kinda disapointed at the time, D.O.A. was what he really wanted. I got ahold of this at the age of 10 and been jammin' to it ever since.
Thanks mom and dad!

correction missy; I 'grew up' with GFR, BR and other rock icons of times gone by, however BR is one level up on GFR in every musical aspect.

A couple of down votes...……...Anyone who would down vote this can't hear and/or knows nothing about musical talent.

There's inspired keys and cool flute and morissonian heavy vocals...everything is in its right place ...drums and guitars complete it with an edgy grace...i think it's a work of art...
