Always amazing to watch stuff like this as a guitar player. Im a guitar hero baby, which means I started playing because of guitar hero. But to this day it blows my mind that about 40% of guitar hero on expert is actually harder to play on guitar hero.

The charts are so bad on keyboard that I, as a left handed person, had to swap the middle note to my right hand due to how much they like placing notes in the first three collumns.

I feel lik the only ime Harmonix charted a keyboard part for guitar was Clint Eastwood since that was mostly Activision who did that with the Guitar Hero games.

I feel like someone at Epic came up with the idea of only letting the strumming/pro charts work for the RB4 and Riffmaster because they're worried about cheaters or something. But the thing is as long as someone has to strum to hit the notes it doesn't matter if their strum keybinds are set to a sideways keyboard or a ps2 Guitar Hero controller it's all the same. They just need to give you a toggle somewhere for strum mode and festival mode. Right now I have a fantastic wii guitar that connects but the game only lets me play the normal charts so my strum does nothing and tbh it's like 5x harder than just playing on my keyboard or xbox controller

Man this looks so fun 😠 i suck on guitar but i can absolutely do this on controller with my guitar hero keybinds! But nooo they go and make a huge mistake making the default binds left, right/ ■◇○.. and that takes away the possibility of so many possible note patterns and just waters it down and makes it wayy easier than it should bee
