Quickly approaching 64 and firmly embedded into my second childhood, I find myself deeply envying Atlanta & Denzel for having such truly awesome parents. Do you know how beneficial it is to take your young children traveling? It will help form their world view. I was very fortunate myself to have a stepfather who was a serious road dog. He took us across America several times and to Europe more than once. I am forever grateful and truly blessed to have this life. I'm glad you guys enjoyed Miami. The fact is, most Floridians don't live in Miami, and most of Florida is not like Miami. I'm a rare breed, a native Floridian. I have been down there, and killed a lot of brain cells while I was there, can you say Hotel Mutiny? Mainly I've lived in Jacksonville Beach, Tampa area, and Panama City area.

The Everglades is known as "The River of Grass" and we have both Gators and Crocodiles. Croc's have a longer, more pointed snout and are more aggressive than Gators.

It's actually red, and blue (not black) chips, made from ( -- wait for it -- ) red corn, and blue corn, respectively. Yes, corn naturally grows in those colors, plus the typical yellow corn, along with a few other varieties.

You should stop by Siesta Key beach the next time you’re in Florida. Much nicer beach! The sand is like baby powder.
