Get Rule the Waves here:

Rule the Waves places you in the role of 'Grand Admiral' during the early years of the 20th Century. You manage the naval affairs of your chosen nation while navigating between the desires and demands of your own government, the efforts of potential adversaries, and the affairs of your potential allies.

The battle resolution mechanics are based upon our successful Steam and Iron (SAI) system for combat but technichal, economic and foreign policy decisions will also be necessary as the player guides their navy's design, construction, deployment and operations during a period of great technological innovation and political tensions.

So Japan has RGP1=2 and RGP2=1 which means a low start but skyrocketing budget... Perhaps war as early as possible to add to the budget base even further!?

I see 1920s joust with USA in the high seas. Looks exciting. May the winds be with the Turtle san:)

Nice to see you finally playing Japan. I've binge-watched your series for Germany and Austria-Hungary series over the past two weeks and it's nice to finally be able to comment on an ongoing series. Which brings me to a few questions. First, could you name a ship Marutenzo after me; preferably a heavy cruiser or a battlecruiser? Secondly, have you ever considered gun-focused destroyers as your screen ships in the late game instead of light cruisers, or is that something that just doesn't work in this game?

With the surprise attack the higher the tension level before war breaks out the more the ships will be stationed in the area.

In all actuality the Kongo one of Japans most famous warship that fought in WW1 and retrofitted for WW2 was built in Great Britain.

Oh and can I possibly get a ship named after me Doitsugo Cheko-go, this just translates to German Czech.

have you tried to build a raiding minesweeper? If I could I'd build them like you build light cruisers.

Finally, it begins!
I'd like to get an Armoured Cruiser this time, since I wasn't so lucky with a BB last time. "Honoka" would be a perfect name for my ship. As always, thanks.

Might be a bit late, but maybe name a ship the Torunaga if it's not already been done?

Welp, you know what I'm going to ask you make me again. A gunboat DD. Found a suitable name, Jagaimo no ju. It"s nothing dirty in meaning, I'm not asking for many to be made. Just was thinking, maybe later game. Double torpedo launchers times 2, on both sides. That way all the center line mounts wouldn't be crowded, and you wouldn't be made to forego torpedo's. Also that way maybe you could run 3 dual mount turrets. Yeah it would be heavy for a DD, and expensive. But after the recycled DD's in the succession series, did so well for you, purpose built ones may serve you even better. Maybe you'll make me a few. Just to make you not google search what the name I suggested means, it is Potato gun. Glad your doing another one of these series. Thanks for the content. Good Hunting.

Hitokiri Battōsai would be a cool name for a cruiser.

IJN Sevemori. Had Sevemori as dynasty name in ck2 mod on period of sengoku jidai. Now that series seems to be 20 episodes away I understand if I'm horribly late and thus end up not gettin named ship.

Why not create a Destroyer with a name like Harekaze, or Hikarikaze (Sunny wind and Light wind)

oh boy, time for a new Rule the Waves series.

Can I get a CA named Gādomangeirī, please?

Also, what are your thoughts on late game heavy cruisers? I know in this era battlecruisers kind of put the end to the idea of the armoured cruisers, but I think it's a bit unfair to lump in the heavy cruiser concept with the armoured cruiser concept. After all, the heavy cruiser wasn't so much of a revival of the armoured cruiser but an evolution of the light cruiser. I'm curious how heavy cruisers fit into the game world without a Washing Naval Treaty to bring about their development, though.
