There is no comparison between Nico pre FC Porto and post FC Porto. He has added so much more to his game. More aggression, more vertical and direct, can now play as defensive midfielder if needed but also gets into scoring positions a lot more. Quality player with potential to get even better under Guardiola. Very smart signing.

To all the City fans, don't expect him to be a creative midfielder, but he can win back balls defensively, which is what City is lacking right now. This comes from a guy who likes to keep an eye on all the Barca academy talent. He was never that good for us, but he has improved on his physicality. I think Pep can turn Nico into a monster.
