My Time Playing The Forever Winter Beta

I had a great time playing the beta, and I can not wait to play the early access release coming out 9/24/24. These are all solo runs with the exception of friendly AI bots on a couple runs.

What I really love first and foremost in games is the atmosphere, and this one seems to be oozing it.

The atmosphere and concept is stellar. The gameplay itself needs work, but is looking decent enough when you play it right, even on their beta build.

Turns out you can play it like a shooter, well, kinda, if you know your stuff and your arms grow from shoulders, not your ass.

This is the kind of game where I am sure there are a ton of benefits playing in a group but would much rather take my time to really get the lay of the land and act accordingly to become a true rat on the battlefield.

I can't say I've been this interested in a game in, well, a long time and I look forward to how they're going to improve it over EA like cleaning up the animations and shoulder camera swapping.

Great video, but I got to ask...the quest missions never progressed at all, so can I assume you never got an extract at all? Is that a good thing or bad in terms of the gameplay?

Hope this comes to PS5. So many questions. Like, what's the respawn like? What's the different weapons ya find? Like a sniper to pick em off from afar or a Launcher for the big ones? How big is the map? Game looks intense

Seems to be very frustrating. When I have guns, I want to use it. I don't ask for the one man army game but a good balance would be great. And I hope they will calm down the AI about range detection.
