The early church didn't have the Bible. It wasn't compiled until centuries later. The Bible as Protestants know it now wasn't until significantly later.

They had prophets and apostles but where are the true prophets and apostles of God today. Would you recognize a prophet of you saw a one today?

We got to get back to Jesus but they never actually preach the teachings of Jesus. They recite the words of Paul more than they do the words of Jesus. Why is that? I know why, because the teachings of Jesus contradict their lifestyle. Read the Gospels. Jesus warns you of people like this.
