Almost year has passed since we revealed the coming of Dawn of War III with a haunting announcement trailer. As we gear up towards the release of the game on Thursday, we’re taking a moment to look back.

If there were oscars for game trailers, this annoucement trailer would have won.

"Let the viewer decide which they felt a connection with" - By far the Eldar. Seeing that Deff Dread all mighty and then out of the smoke seeing the giant sword of the Wraith Knight just bust it open. And seeing it appear from the smoke and just towering over the battlefield. And then the Imperial Knights making their charge and how the Wraith just position itself and how it brings down it's sword to just cleave the Imperial Knight in two. Getting chills man, chills for days

Simply put, you succeeded; it is the best trailer I have ever seen to date and describes the tale of the Warhammer 40, 000 universe exactly.

Everything worked. You should win awards for this cinematography and the musical score (which if it was in an OST I would buy immediately).
