Age has absolutely nothing to do with a player “wanting to win”.

Gundogan was Top 2 for us last season and wanted it more than the rest of our squad full of players in their 20s.

Looking outside of our club, look at Modric, Kroos, Penaldo, Pepe, etc, etc, etc. Modern Football is different, longevity is becoming common.

Gundogan is literally IN his prime. The best season of his career statistically was his last season at City, this season he was the midfielder with the most chances created….. if the team didn’t have a horrible season and could actually finish and find each other in dangerous positions, this season would’ve topped that one
