You can tell these two women are genuine and love each other very much. They really just need the tools to get through the pain of their pasts and move forward as a family. .

How did anyone expect the daughter to know how to be a Mum, if her Mum was on drugs most of her young life?

Paul is screaming for boundaries. Children act out in order to find out where the boundaries are. Happy children have daily routines and boundaries. Through this you can use positive reinforcement which is the best teacher in the world!. When they're labelled as good children they become proud of themselves and are loved by all!

JoJo, you are incredible. Where other shows delve into the who did what to whom to shock the audience, you did just enough so everyone understands the issues. Then you KINDLY and with such grace helped this family build on the strengths we couldn't are they had at first. I hope this family managed well and little Paul has a happy childhood.

Even though the daughter is an adult and has a child she still craves what she didn’t get as a child herself. So in a way she still has a child’s mind when it comes to her mom. She wants what she didn’t get as a youngster. Hope things got better for them.

Neither one of them sound like they should be taking care of a child.

Very sad to watch the results that addiction has played in everyone's life. And I see the connection of the adult child of an addict being afraid of the same same behavior that her mother hit her, being the same as her son hitting love, abandonement, and punishment. I hope they all get the tools they need to progress. There is love and I hope they all realize that they are not alone.
