Banished is a city-building strategy game by Shining Rock Software, where you control a group of travellers who decide to restart their lives in a new land. They have only the clothes on their backs and a cart filled with supplies from their homeland. From these meagre beginnings, you must guide them into becoming a thriving community.

The Colonial Charter gives a more colonial flair to the game, adds and expands the production chains already available, and gives you access to several new aesthetic styles both in the colonies you build and even the lands themselves.

Very late reply... Traders and Vendors can carry about twice as much as laborers. If they aren't filling their areas they will work as laborers but with their increased carrying capacity making them more affective in the long run.
