Replacing your fork seals is part of regular maintenance and helps ensure your suspension operates properly and internal components don't wear prematurely. In this video, Charles shows the proper steps on how to clean and service Yamaha PW50 forks that came off a 1997 PW50, but this procedure will be the same for most all Yamaha PW50 motorcycles up to 2016.

The right leg is literally servicable, I just did mine. You have the same circlips than the left leg and all parts inside are the same. Apart from that, cool tutorial. Helped me a lot 👍🏻

Can we not take apart the other leg ? The leg without the nubbin on the bottom, can we simply clean the internals?

The manual makes no distinction between the L & R fork legs.... What makes the R fork non-servicable?

12:18 in the transcript I think is why they claim the rhs is non-servicable. *If you try to buy 1, you'll probably find you need to buy both. So you'll buy both. When you would have just serviced them both and bought none if you didn't see this vid beforehand and take their UNEXPLAINED opinion.

What makes the other leg non-serviceable?
It has to come apart somehow.
