The onscreen dynamic of these three is so good. Steve Martin and Martin Short have actually been elevated by adding Selena Gomez, I knew she was a natural (style) actor, but didn't realize how much their styles (Short is zany and full of energy, Steve is intelligence, goofiness and lovability) needed her as the "strait man" with the emotional gravitas in her expressive eyes, as she looks at these two older actors with affection! And its just plain good fun!!

I've always admired Selena's acting talent, so I'm not surprised that the role of Mabel is perfectly played by Selena, other lead actors are also great, but my brain is subconsciously looking for Selena on the screen😍🥰😊
