Just wanted to let you know that due to this video, I stopped at Lucy's and had the same tacos you did. I was really waiting for the time I pass through El Paso after I have seen this video and these were the best tacos I ever had.

Great piece! El Paso is one fabulous city! Amazing weather, incredible food and warm, friendly people. I lived there for 8 years and miss it terribly. Lucy's is a stalwart and was definitely our 'go to' place for lunch. A must see restaurant (among many) if you find yourself lucky enough to be visiting!

They look good. With out offending, I stay in my house; been married with my wife for 39 years and she cooks great. We get out not very often and most of the time get disappointed with what they call “Mexican food”. Can’t say anything wrong about this place, will go definitely next time and taste it. About machaca, for 39 years have had the best at home. We both, my wife and I, are Mexican born and raised, living in the states since 1985. At the present live in El Paso, Tx. Great place to live. God bless the 915 and around places, God bless the Great USA, amén.

Worked at Kings X. Just amazing dives and owners on both ends.

I was born and raised in EP, wife too. We have been in San Antonio for 18 years now. Lucy's is an awesome place, the machaca is incredible, tacos Antonia, "no hombe shut up". I miss the Kings X and especially Lucy's but the L & J and Leo's, right up there too. So many places to eat GREAT food. The women in EP, too hot to mention here. If you are driving through, make a point of stopping at Lucy's or the L & J, you will not want to leave. Miss the food for sure.

For you people who live here, you need to go to Adas Mexican restaurant. It's behind the lube and go place on Carolina and Giles in the Lower Valley. The owner's name is Cesar, and he's very friendly and accommodating, and the tacos are crispy with the traditional lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. Also the chicken enchiladas in green enchilada sauce are fantastic!

Man I love El Paso I remember leaving Texas to Las Vegas for vacation it would take us 12 hours to get out of Texas lol. I'm from the rgv but as soon as we got there we would get a hotel and sleep. But the weather there once it starts getting dark is something else. It brings back a nostalgic feeling.
