Bellamy Brothers | Let Your Love Flow | REACTION VIDEO
In 1976, the Bellamy Brothers got a taste of megastardom thanks to their very first single as a duo, "Let Your Love Flow." Written by Larry Williams, a roadie for Neil Diamond, the song became a smash across the globe following its release.

"Let Your Love Flow" was released in January of 1976, and by that spring, it had become a No. 1 hit in the U.S., as well as in Austria, Canada, Germany, South Africa and Switzerland. Although it didn't reach the top spot, it also charted high in Australia, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and Sweden.

If I Said You Have A Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me. Is a great song by the Bellamy Brothers

One of those tunes that reminds of music playing on my pocket transistor radio when I was a kid. Lots of music on the AM dial in those days.

One of those great songs to sing along to. Aaah the 70’s. This was a big radio hit, number 1, if I remember correctly.

The Bellamy Brothers live 8 miles from me here in Florida. Have met them and they're super cool and down to earth. Great reaction.

This took me straight back to when I was little. I definitely remember dancing around my living room while this played on my parents record player. Thanks for the memory 😊

You heard it when you were "little"? Well. that makes me feel old! I was 26 when it was released. Loved it then and still love.

If you're not already familiar with it, I'd like to recommend Hamilton Joe Frank and Reynolds, "Don't Pull Your Love Out on Me Baby" similar period and feel.

I think it's interesting to note that the song was written by a roadie for Neil Diamond. Both Diamond and Johnny Rivers passed on recording it before the Bellamy Brothers scored such a huge hit with it.

I've never seen the credit for who played it, but I've always loved the bass line in this song - smooth as butter...

Mmmmm, smooth 70s music, always a pleasure. Really enjoying your reactions, keep up the good work.

If you ever find yourself in search of a forgotten gem from the 70s, I suggest a band called Sea Level. It was formed by the bass player, drummer, and keyboardist, from the Allman Bros Band after ABB broke up. They did heavily jazz/blues infused southern rock over 5 albums, but sadly never got the attention they deserved.

My all time favorite group is Steely Dan, and I've always thought of Sea Level as the southern Steely Dan, because of their unique blend of genres and their high level of musicianship. Chuck Leavell, the keyboardist, has been the Rolling Stones primary studio and touring keyboardist since 1982.

Stand out tracks include- "That's Your Secret", "Living In A Dream", "Shake A Leg", "Nothing Matters But The Fever", "Rain In Spain", "King Grand", "This Could Be The Worst", "It Hurts To Want It So Bad", and "Had To Fall".

Bellamy Brothers - The Vertical Expression of Horizontal Desire

I love the Bellamy Brothers! Their live shows may not be flashy, but we always had a good time and lots of good music! I love their brotherly harmonies. Two of my favorite songs are...Can I Come on Home to You and Santa Fe. They are written and co-written by David Bellamy, respectively. They are not as well known or catchy as some of their songs, but I like them. Not requests, just a statement.
