Marianne sold that house to move into Leonard's house ...a move, I believe from a podcast I heard that she later regretted. Leonard left her behind many times to further his singing career. While he was in New York he met Suzanne Elrod who later turned up at the house in Hydra with Leonard's child baby Adam asking her when she was moving out. Marianne knew from letters received that it was coming and stated how she stood there at the door feeling a little taller, a little wiser and a little older. She slowly packed up her and her son Axel's belongings and left. I can only imagine the final heartbreak she felt at that moment. It was all rather cruel.
