The SEC overreached in this case. They should've limited the scope to sales prior to 2018 and to Ripple the company. Lastly, the SEC should've settled instead of filing suit.

I hold xrp but the lawsuit isn't what shocks me, its the timing...8yrs later!? The lawsuit is normal strategy of SEC to extort monies from all new innovation. Remember the SEC said they had 75 cases settled/ fined, its about the money everyone. The SEC want that ESCOW I bet you, and I wouldn't give it to them either if I were Brad or Chris.

No I don't see where this so-called lawsuit makes any sense. The SEC has no jurisdiction anyway. The CFTC is responsible for oversight of "digital assets" and not the SEC.

Some of my thoughts on the actual reason behind this Lawsuit because it certainly isn’t protecting the investors, long story short, the digital dollar isn’t ready yet. Short story long, we all know the digital yuan is either ready or near enough. Sure I’ve heard the digital pound isn’t too far away but in my opinion the digital dollar is nowhere near & rather than let everyone had an advantage by early adoption they are damaging the chosen bridge currency to hold things back & they’re even failing at that!
