Day 29 - 2021 Wheat Harvest / July 11 (Near New Raymer, CO)

Roles have been reversed.

Jim and Petey are hauling grain to Stoneham, CO. I’m in the combine.

The yields appear to be pretty good, considering evidence of sawfly damage.

Jim said the test weight is 60 lbs.

Im most in awe of the cool evenings! It was 58° this morning when I got up. Brrrrrr - just enough of a reminder that fall will be here before we know it.

Here in Ireland it lashed rain most of Sunday, I was working and I couldn't get out of the truck with the rain. Its supposed to get good from Tuesday on, so I expect we will soon see the combines out harvesting the winter barley. Best wishes to yourself and Jim.

Absolutely 💯 love it !! My uncle was on a mixed farm 🚜 in the UK 🇬🇧 here and there was canola...barley...and wheat ..come and sheep 🐑 also .loved the harvest times with him there
