Still Holding On, with Jason Crabb

Nine months ago today, the God that molded me and put me together planned this moment to HEAL ME. I’ve served Jesus since I was a child, and promised to serve Him until I died - that commitment never changed but I suffered loss as an adult that left a hole that I didn’t think could be filled on this side of eternity. Grief had become a part of my identify. And I had just accepted that I would be a fractured shell of who I used to be.

But when I tell you, on this night and in this beautiful moment, the Spirit came down, saturated the church, and we worshipped. At the very church where years ago, I’d told my friends who Pastored there that I didn’t know if I’d ever be able to sing again bc I was too broken to be used, God orchestrated this moment and let His spirit fill all of my heart and restore all the holes, dents, and cracks. He quite literally gave me a new song!

I know some of you are tired of hearing about it, but I will shout my thanks from the rooftop. I will be forever grateful for this God-sent event! My life will never be the same - I am living proof of His restoration power! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I am so thankful for Jason’s willingness to listen to God’s nudge and invite a complete stranger up to sing with him, and for his kindness when I temporarily lost my bearings and forgot the lyrics. He was, and has continued to be, so thoughtful and supportive, and I appreciate him greatly.

I’ll be forever humbly grateful for this precious moment, and the many blessings that have come since it happened. All from Him, all for Him! 💜🙌🏼✝️

I love hearing you both together! It’s amazing; so beautiful !! I have goosebumps; I can feel the power of God! Our Lord is so wonderful, full of Love, Mercy & Grace & I love Him so much! There’s no peace or joy without Him! We can do nothing without Him & He must be top Priority in our lives! We have to hold onto Him now more than ever! You two should make a CD; it would bless so many people! This modern day music designed for teenagers doesn’t compare to the songs people in our age group; that want to hear songs that lift the Lord up. Churches for the most part have gone to the new music & singing that sounds like something you would expect nightclubs to play. It’s heartbreaking! God bless you both abundantly! Please keep me in your prays as I will for others. I have a huge .. painful surgery coming up up ad want to soar threw it like never before. I have had many surgeries but this will be the biggest.
I know my God will hold on to the hands of the surgeon .. I’m just scared.
