Great books Brother. I would keep the book raw. Store it for now. If the book goes up in value. Press and clean it. Than send it off for grading. Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😀 👍 ❤️ 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 ❤💯💯

Those old Carl Barks Disney books are great. A friend of mine had a big box full of them when we were kids, and we would sit up all night reading them. And as always, I love those old horror books. Great video Jim!

Not bad for $10 silver age books. Love that ASM.

I have had a couple copies of that Showcase 80. I upgraded and gave the other copy to my son. I would keep it raw. Great video.

One to look for in that Phantom Stranger run is #4. The first three issues were reprints from the golden age, #4 is the first new Phantom Stranger story in the silver age. Given that #1 (2 & 3) are just cover appearances, I think theres a strong argument to made that #4 is the actual first appearance in the silver age :)

I just got Super-villian Team-Up 10. Fun series! I found digital copies of the series covers. They look soooo good!

Super-Villain Team-Up had the craziest publication schedule I've ever seen in a Marvel comic: bi-monthly until #14, then quarterly for #15 and then annually for the last two issues. That's right, readers had to wait a year between #16 and #17.
If the price is fair, I don't pass up any Golden Age comic as they are becoming so much harder to find then even 15 years ago.
That Spectre run is very collectable as it's short at only 10 issues and, apart from several with Neal Adams art, there's one with a beautiful Bernie Wrightson-drawn story.
I think you did very well at the flea market Jim, particularly those old Disney books.

FF #8 is also the first appearance of Alicia Masters. Double Key!

Some great pick ups, and for the Stranger comic I'd leave it raw, you are going to make your money back when you sell it.

Anytime you can get SA ASM under market value it's a win! Sold my F+ copy of issue #71 in the late 80's to a collector that really had to have it! Had the chance to get a VF+ copy in 2011 a little under FMV and jumped on it due to the nice black cover!! --AND from an original owner collection, too!! (So I got a few more from it) Glad I did since they've appreciated nicely in 12 years!!

Seems like fle markets are now the place to look for old comics.

Hi, Jim! Magnificent catch with those $4 late Golden/Early Silver DC comics. Those $10 Silver Age comics were excellent as well, all seemed to be in nice condition.
