Isaac and Randy's conversation about learning how to sling balanced picks was pure gold. Both amazingly talented and humble dudes 👑

that's awesome Isaac understood the pressure and the time of day. -and did not get discouraged when told no. that's a leader in the making i have a couple guys with that mindset and it makes you want to invest more and more into them. for his age you struck gold with that young man also hats off to randy for being honest straight to the point. and not sugar coating it. that's what leaders do respectfully. hats off all around fellas

27:49 Shots fired. "It's weird the crane moves as much when Randy's on as when there's a 3000lb log"

Tip for not getting the chain smack when swinging it around the tree: Take two 10' sections of rope and create an eye on one end. Loop the eye of each rope on the hook of the chain (1 rope per hook) and whip the rope around the tree. Then pull the rope and the chain comes around with it. If you are worried about the rope getting caught with the hook; detach it and discard to the ground. The pick is going down to the ground anyway and can be reset on the hooks for the next pick.

I know Randy being a real life Thor aka Hemsworth and 1, 100 lbs. (as proved by the numbers from the crane) was just acting when he said it hurt after being smacked by the chain. It was a good effect for the camera; thank you for humbling us Randy! Great job on this one; your team safety is really showing in your videos. I am always reminded by the loss of Jed who was a master at so many skills. Keep up the great videos and amazing treework!

When you under bid is when you just have to just think that you are getting paid to be proud of what amazing work you just did and how thankful you are to be in this beautiful industry!

Listen Jake, at least you got a little more experience with your new crane. Think of these two days as training days. I think your company is doing great work. You have the utmost respect for the safety of your crew, the customers property, your machines and your crew respects you. Great work brother.

I do believe it is because you treat each other with such respect and a safety first attitude, that you are so successful. Gives everyone a good feeling and also supplies you all with awesome press.

Awesome Randy has his Chops back! Love the days when he would randomly walk in front of the camera grooming his chops😂😂

You guys work awesome toghether! being able to switch from laughing and having a good time to it’s time to be serious without having to say much is exactly what a great crew is built on. Keeping your guys safe is far more important than a bit of a hit on a price, also way cheaper than someone getting hurt!

Appreciate your commitment to your crew safety and integrity to both your customer and business.

it Sucks when you underbid! we dont have a crane, so we overbid all the big trees and just stay in our lane. Every now and again we get one and we're like, "really???" hahaha love the videos, dude!

If you broke even then its still positive for 2 reasons. 1: Crane experience. that machine is still new to you. Learning its ins and outs is worth the time. 2: your employees get paid something atleast. Yeah its not ideal that the company didnt make anything/maybe even made a loss, but its not all negatives. Just a lesson to learn for the future.

I really admire your attitude to safety and your worker's wellbeing. I could die on any given job and my boss would not even care
