Simcity 4 Tutorial - How to upgrade to/install the Network Addon Mod

I've been getting a lot of questions about installing the NAM 37 on this channel and on Simtropolis forums so I decided to record my own installation of the mod. This video was made for v. 37 but you can use the same steps for v. 38.

Very helpful. I'm glad to see NAM is still thriving and getting new updates. It's been over a decade since I last loaded up the game. I was surprised I was able to transfer my giant mess of a sc4 plugins folder from the retail version to the steam version and still have everything working. I can't wait to see what NAM updates have been like since then.

After installing the NAT 40 version, when I try to open the map it crashes (I have the Steam Simcity 4 DELUXE version)

This seems to be even simpler with version 42, especially if you install the mod for the first time :)
All, I had to do, was run the file and I was guided through by the installer.

I installed it and now my game crashes every time I try to load a city :(

If simcity 4 crashing not loading to region remove this file from the document simcity 4 plugin folder z_NAM Controller_RHD. This is for THE NAM 38

installed as instructed and it crashes during loading of a tile, even have SC4 fix patch.

I got the installer and everything but it crashes when I load map. Like his, it loads for a while but the game just quits/crashes. Any tips?

I downloaded jre and the jar file still isn't executable with jre. How do you fix this?
